SUNFLOWERS
New for Spring 2011 we have added a potted 6" Sunflower. It is bright yellow flower with a black centre. One great thing about this particular plant is that it is pollen free and with that has a long shelf life. It has a large flower diameter, is compact; grows 30-40 cm tall and does branch.
At Orchard Park Growers we find it a great addition to our potted production line. We will have Sunflowers available throughout 2011 from late April through October.

PATIO GERBERA
Patio Gerbera is a new plant specifically bred for outdoors to brighten your patio and outdoor living. They are known for their large blooms, long stems and bright colours. An added feature of this plant is the ability to produce flowers which, with their long stems, are able to be used as cut flowers.
Place your Patio Gerbera in a bright area but out of direct sunlight; ideally for patios, porches or balconies. Keep evenly moist and fertilize regularly. Remove faded flowers from the plant to encourage further flowering.
Flowering Time: May - September. Not Hardy
